President Bill Clinton's military experience |
|
It occurs to me that, as Governor of the State of Arkansas, Bill Clinton was also Commander-in-Chief of the Arkansas National Guard.
For 12 years.
Funny how the right never mentions that, isn't it?
I mean, Bush was (nominally, allegedly) in the Air National Guard for 4 years as a mere junior officer, but Clinton was C-in-C!
Just a talking point you can use when a mouth-breathing Palin-supporter points to her 1¾ years as C-in-C of the AKNG.
If you like it and want to promote it, K&R it.

1. Actually, that was the subject of conversation during his troubles, for a little while. |

While it is true that he was C-in-C of the ARNG, his team tried to use that by saying that it meant he was on active duty and was immune to any charges. I forget exactly which event this was about, but perhaps another DU'er can refresh my memory. At any rate, it sounds like the R's may be trying the same line about Palin.
