2. Dubya ran a very effective campaign
....not so effective at governance though...

Running a campaign and being a good president are very different animals.

3. NONSENCE. Every major campaign both gets lots of outside input and check sentiment of supporters
as not to get to insular in the campaign bubble.

16. Yep, I know You are one of the people I respect here because you ask very
intelligent questions and are willing to discuss other points - most of the concern trolls I am talking about are the "OBAMA NEEDS TO KICK HIM IN THE NUTZ RIGHT NOW.." and "Why is Obama such a whimp.." asses that seem to be stenching up the joint this morning....

8. Because governing and campaigning are two different skills.
Kerry and Gore ran poor campaigns. More to the point, they lost. Wouldn't have minded if they were president, though.

9. I predict
should Senator Obama win, practically EVERYONE with influence to be heard by the masses will second guess EVERY decision he makes, with the intention to attempt to disrupt his ability to effectively govern.

This is just warm up/practice.

10. all you have to do is get involved with the campaign in their registration, canvassing
and GOTV and you see clearly that there is another reality beyond the media that is happening across the country.

If anybody is really worried they should get out and do some canvassing - you will see an army at work and do some good at the same time.

Last time I went canvassing I was matched up with a guy that is strongly pro life and against same sex marriages. I resisted the effort to lecture him (he was young) and was amazed at the depth and breadth of the people that are giving up their Saturday's to work for change.

I believe their strategy is a good one. It remains to be seen how well they deal with tactics, thought.

15. It doesn't matter what Obama does, he fails.
This board is literally making me sick. No they will never trust him. When he's president we will hear this second guessing every damn day.

Everybody here is a genius and can see what he needs to do soo clearly, and he is an utter idiot who doesn't know what the hell he's doing.

That's the difference between Republicans and Democrats. No matter who stupid a republican is, they all get on the same page and support it. They admit no mistakes even when they commit the grossest of errors. Democrats are like crabs ina barrel. Whenever one does something right, the others say, "that'll never work."

I'm sick of it. I almost wish McCain Palin on America.
