GOP campaign signs at a prospective employer
I'm job hunting, just having moved to Waco three weeks ago. Specifically, in the printing and publishing industry. Today I had a job interview at a printer, I was mildly intrigued but nowhere near sold, but when they showed me the part of the shop where they were printing up boxes and boxes of McCain/Palin signs, I knew I could never work there. I asked if they were printing any Obama signs and he said, "naw, we're Republicans." I said, "I'm a hard-core Democrat." No way, no how, not ever doing anything to help them win.

1. I will bet that was a shock to the boss.
I assume that Waco is a hard core Republican area like Tarrent county where I live.

2. probably more so, what with Killeen just up the road, and Baylor U and all.
yes Tarrant is pretty red all right
which is why I have been doing my volunteering for the incumbent in HD 97 who won the special election when Anna Mowry resigned unexpectedly.

I tell you, this year is different. This year when they say they are voting for him, we ask if they want a yard sign. Most of them say yes. Some of them ask for Obama signs, which we do not have.

I am in SW Tarrant, how about you?

3. good for you... and it was good you asked because they could have just been doing
a run because it was easy money and also printing for the other side too.

4. I wonder where all the signs are going.
I haven't seen any in N. Dallas.
