Does John McCain Hate America? |
|
Imagine you're John McCain - 30-year statesman, war hero, "maverick" reformer - and your watching the interview between Sarah Palin, your running-mate, and Charlie Gibson. You watch her ramble off with her beauty-queen, know-nothing responses, winking and "ChERlie"-ing her way through the interview. You've been around long enough to recognize a load of bullshit when you see it. And that's all there is to see there. A "blizzard of words" with absolutely no substance.
And you're thinking, "This is what I've come to. I've actually chosen to endanger my country by choosing as my running mate a person who knows far less about foreign policy than a typical blogger. A person who thinks war with Russia is actually a viable option. A person who thinks vapid "charm" is a useful weapon against intelligent adults. A person who really believes you CAN fool all the people, all the time."
Wouldn't the only honorable thing be to admit your blunder and dump this knucklehead? If you really cared about keeping America safe and strong, wouldn't you fix this mistake?
And if you chose not to, I can only conclude it's because you actually hate America.
Why do you hate America, John McCain?

7. I suspect he thinks a 'blogger' is something he pulls out of his nose |
|
and wipes on The Constitution.

And to the country he professes to love. I think he continues to suffer from PTSD, that's why he can't stop talking about being a prisoner, and his illness permeates this campaign. He is like the ghost of Vietnam. He should go down to the Wall and contemplate all those who didn't come back from that hideous exercise in futility - like this Iraq fiasco he's so in love with.

3. No. John and the repukes look at America like a child looks at a bowl of candy. |
|
They love the bowl of candy seeing it as something to consume or exploit. They can't see the future past their noses.

4. He's seeing what he needs to see - his last change to prove himself... |
|
...some say, to his father. He wants to win AT ALL COSTS.
(Plus, he has dementia or alzheimers imo)

6. I was thinking that today... |
|
how does McCain tactfully say "you know what, I f***ed up. I'm sorry, let's call the whole thing off. We'll sit this one out".

8. McCain has denounced his country before. This is just another denouncement |
|
He is actually endangering this nation with his pick of Palin as VP. He statistically has a 30% chance of dying in the next years and his risk is even higher with his four bouts of cancer.

9. That's what I think, too. |
|
I have a friend who is 72. He's always talking about how he's still kicking, but he doesn't make long term plans anymore. It's good for a laugh, but I know he's really quite serious about it. So McCain *has* to be looking at this numbskull, wondering what would happen were she to take over the office of POTUS. Wouldn't what weigh on anyone with any honor left?

10. The right-wing must hate America |
|
My wife asked me yesterday "Do you really think that people like sean hannity or dick cheney actually believe the crap they say?" My reply was "No, they just say those things to get the dumb-assed public to buy in on their quest for more money and power." Many of the right-wing spinners are smart enough to see what the policies they endorse are doing to Americans. They don't care as long as they get enough to make their little slice of life comfortable.
They truly hate America, its form of government, its constitution, it citizens....
