You know, I think we owe a debt of thanks to Gov. Palin

She energized our base, plus a whole lot more... environmentalists, animal rights people, and also our own base as well. Would we have been able to keep that fire burning for the time that we have without Palin? Perhaps by now we would all be sleeping through George W. McCain's boring speeches and maybe we could have lost by thinking we had it in the bag. IMHO, we do have it in the bag, but only if our GOTV efforts are sustained...

So thank you Gov. Palin for firing up our base and so many others! Enjoy spring back in Alaska - I hear there will be lots more little furry things to kill right around then anyway, so you won't be bored.
