My neighbor, who I thought was gonna be a pretty cool friend (she likes animals and funny movies and stuff) said she liked Palin because she's so religious.
She just wrote to me on Facebook about hanging out this weekend, I just wrote her back with the truth, I can't enjoy time spent with someone like that. I said I didn't want to be enemies but I can't be friends.

on Sept 11/01, the first jet hit the WTC tower at 8:45 am, just as east coast tv audience was turning on the morning news programs. Just the timing alone- early mid morning on east coast during a business week Tuesday in mid September while nothing else of earth shaking importance, newswise, was going on- just the timing alone indicated there was careful planning involved in it. And the rest of the 'consumer target' news audience fell into line, with people on the west coast waking up to a full blown tv drama. And no one can ever say anything about it. The reactionaries know that 911 was a part of the same program they watched in November/00 and in mid December when the USSC literally gave the top office in US politics to a cheap crook. But they won't admit that, probably can't. So their hatred consumes them. And goddammit that is WONDERFUL! lol

The indigent family out in the middle of W.VA/VA/KY could use some help, but the BS keeps distracting them. Being indigent, and usually rural, they don't get a lot of exposure to "cosmopolitan" living. Hard to hate them, but it's getting more and more difficult to not blame them.
