Evidence of Big Media Bias - A No Brainer Cable News Segment On The Economy

Barack Obama, of course, has been pushing this, but it is largely ignored, since he is the candidate afterall, but why can't a news program discuss Bush's economic policies and tax cuts, then consider each of the candidate's economic proposals in turn, then compare them to the current policies in an objective manner? How are each of the candidates policies different?

I, of course, have links to Obama's website, but are their any Big Media stories or websites that provide such an analysis?

This is frustrating, because the whole change debate could largely be blown out of the water if a network were to actually present such an analysis. The pundits, of course, could debate whose program was better, but so far, despites hours of campaign coverage, I have yet to see a network actually present each candidate's economic policies in comparison to the current economic policies of the Bush administration. Instead, all I have seen is hours, after hours, after hours, of coverage over campaign tactics and insults.

This is what I think is really pathetic. There is no effort by Big Media to address the issues or have any form of dialogue regarding how each candidates policies are different. Instead, we have a popularity contest. Thus, I can understand the comments by Barack Obama chastising the media for not covering the issues.

Is this really that hard to do? Or, is it just too embarrassing for the McCain campaign?
