I thought I was dreaming. McCAIN AD:Obama is more of the same
So, I was napping because I have a nasty summer cold and in my "just waking up haze" I hear a McCain commercial saying that Obama is just more of the same! Huh?!? :shrug:

Thought that I misheard it, antihistamines do funny things ya know, so I looked it up on YouTube and sure enough here it is, I'm in Colorado by the way:

8. I'm not even sure how that will be viewed by most
I think they will have the same reaction I did, say what? I just don't think that they can win in that battle.

It's just a really, really weird ad.

9. I have a theory
I think the McCain campaign is counting on a lot of people being so politically ignorant that they don't understand which party has been pulling all the strings in the Bush administration, and therefore don't relate the Bush disaster with McCain. Could people be that stupid? Yes. They can and they are.

23. More evidence.
That's why I hope the Obama campaign links them as often as possible.

Bush = Republican = McCain

11. They are truly trying to take over the Dems campaign. How is health care for
Edited on Fri Sep-12-08 10:22 PM by applegrove
all "the same". And hey tax increases on the rich worked very well in the 1990s. And most of the 20th century when it took place.

Maybe they just want to confuse voters and thus innoculate their campaign for the Dems successful "the same" campaign mantra.

15. Of course they're saying he's more of the same...
...that line has worked so well for the democrats :D
Seriously though, with all of the lies and misinformation coming out of the republican camp, Obama just needs an ad showing all of the lies and a voiceover saying "give it up already..."

21. Not the first time it's happened -
I was watching MSNBC and they had a short video of one of McCain's speeches, and I swear he said two lines that I had heard Obama say several times. I sort of dismissed it at the time, but it keeps coming back to me. Can't remember what the lines were, but I remember saying to myself, get your own writers. I swear the Repugs are getting goofy.
