Bill Moyers is worth his weight in gold |

and then some. "Journal" tonight was excellent even by his lofty standards.

and the second half was a brutal dissection of the toxic cloud of bullshit of the last two weeks and the need for real journalism.

6. Good - I'll be watching him in half an hour |
|
Why isn't HE chosen to moderate a debate? WHY???? Too honest? Too smart? Oh, I see we have Gwen Ifill for the PBS representative. Disgusting.

10. PBS is sadly, probably the last bastion of journalism. |
|
I mean that as a station in its entirety. There will always be one or two good apples at a MSM station but it doesn't take away from the fact that the stations lacks grounding in journalistic principles. PBS is probably the only one where the actual journalists don't need to go back to journalism school.
One thing I liked about PBS is that they hired Aaron Brown, whom will forever be one of my favorite reporters for being there for us on 9/11.

They hurriedly hired right-wingers, i.e. liars, to balance themselves. Listening to various news sources in this country is like finding someone to guard your house and choosing between a petty thief and a felon.
I can't feign happiness for having chosen the petty thief.
My local station is fundraising which means they screw with the times things are shown, if they are shown at all.
EDITED TO ADD: Love Bill Moyers. Love him.
