What is Biden's best strategy for the debate?

Stick to the issues strictly? Make himself look presidential? Ignore Palin? Attack Palin's record? Try to "get her goat?" Play to the American public? Bolster Obama? Attack McCain? What would be his best overall strategy?

His best bet is to be himself. Be the smart, funny guy he is.

Allow her to bluster and bloviate, then offer a firm, yet level correction. Be the stern professor who kicks the student's ass.

Don't be a jerk for no reason, but don't pull punches because you're afraid of what the media might think or what the Republicans might do. We already know how they will spin it if Biden becomes spirited--why not just fucking go for it?

Biden has nothing to prove. He's so charming with that beautiful smile and he speaks so passionately. The contrast will be stark: he, an incredibly healthy, energetic experienced statesman and she, a wanna be. I trust his judgment as to when to take her down during the debate. I mean Charles Gibson did not have to do anything for her to prove how clueless she is. Granted, she will have more time to practice and bone up on issues but Biden has had a lifetime, as the GOP loved to say 2 weeks ago, "She was in grade school when he entered politics," as if age, experience, and good sense mean nothing.
