Palin says Obama regrets bypassing Clinton

NEW YORK (AP) - Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin said Friday she thinks Barack Obama regrets not making Hillary Rodham Clinton his running mate.
Palin praised Clinton's "determination, and grit and even grace" during the Democratic primaries, sounding an altogether different note than when she suggested earlier this year that the New York senator was whining about negative press coverage and campaigning in a way that was not advancing the cause of women in politics.

"I think he's regretting not picking her now," Palin told ABC News.

Her comment brought a sharp rejoinder from Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, on behalf of the Obama campaign: "Sarah Palin should spare us the phony sentiment and respect. Governor Palin accused Senator Clinton of whining."

18. Well, she can psychically absorb the vibes coming off of Russia's leadership
and use these amazing clairvoyant powers to enhance her foreign policy expertise. But she has to be within a certain physical proximity for it to work.

8. Let this be the last article posted about this.
We know she said this. This is a Republican trick to make us second guess the VP choice.

IGNORE PALIN from here on out. Don't give a fuck what she says.

Focus on issues and attacking McCain. Period.

10. I agree! Republicans love for us to obsess with the distraction and misdirection of Palin.
I heard a Democratic author on Minnesota Public Radio this morning say that as long as we are distracted by Palin it doesn't allow us to focus on Obama and bring his message and who he is to the Americn people. There is a place and a proportion for things Palin, but they should not be the primary focus of Democrats. Obama is running against McCain and that is where the focus should be.

9. It was the Republicans who have wanted Hillary to run all the time
For the last four years, that's all they have talked about: Hillary is coming, Hillary is coming.

Even when Hillary ran for junior Senator of NY, we heard: Hillary is coming, Hillary is coming.

"Hillary care", "ut of control feminism", "Another Clinton Dynasty", all heralding the cry: Hillary is coming, Hillary is coming.

The reason being simple; this was their way to their base scared and create an air of helplessness in the advent of a potential Hillary presidency.

Well, Hillary didn't come.

Now all of those Republicans sound like they're scared shitless when WE decided that WE wanted Obama instead.

They've never fought for the same issues that Hillary has. Joe fought them.

Now we have both Hillary and Joe standing next to Obama...

Anyway anyone sees it, the Republicans are at a disadvantage!

16. it's what I heard them say with their own mouths
They wanted her. And even today, they say that they wanted her... To energized their base.

It was never for them to determine who we wanted, even if we wanted her or not.

I don't think that they ever had the to dictate to use who should run. Our primaries and convention determined the outcome of the process.

All I'm hearing from the Republicans is sour grapes.
