Next Up for Palin, Sean Hannity
Sean Hannity, the conservative commentator, will interview Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin next week, the Fox News Channel announced Friday.

Jill Hazelbaker, a spokeswoman for the McCain campaign, confirmed that the television interview would be Ms. Palin’s second since becoming the vice presidential nominee on Aug. 29.

His interview will be taped Tuesday in Cincinnati, Ohio, and will be shown on “Hannity & Colmes,” Fox’s 9 p.m. political talk show, on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Mr. Hannity, who co-hosts the Fox program with Alan Colmes and also hosts a popular radio show, is generally sympathetic to Ms. Palin. “She is a rock star, a rising star, a reform governor with more experience than Barack Obama ever dreamed of having,” he said the day she was chosen by John McCain.

8. Question 1: Gov. Palin, can you tell us all about why you're so proud of this country?
Followed up by:

"Tell me more about the things that you think make this country great".

"You and Sen. McCain oppose Sen. Obama & Biden on a number of issues. Why don't you tell us all about why your views are correct, and theirs are not."

:eyes:

Obama went on O'Reilly. I'd say she should go on Oberman - but he'd ask one tough question and everyone would scream how sexist and mean he is - and she'd just get more positive spint out of it.. so frankly that would probably not be a good idea.

A snippit of an Oberman Interview:

"Gov. Palin, you blatently lied to the American Public about your lack of support to the bridge to nowhere. Why are you such a lying sack of shit"?

Followed up by:

"I have many women who are friends. Why do you think it's your job to control each of their uteruses?"

I heart Keith Oberman.

11. Here's Why This Interview Will Work...And it Sucks
Obviously, slantity is a stooge for the repugs, no doubt about that. I guarantee that faux will give her a script to study and plenty of time to rehearse before air time. So it wont actually be an interview like the one with Gibson or anyone else for that matter and the people that don't know any better will be impressed as hell. As they say on faux "fair and balanced". Yea right!!!

13. Hannity: "She is a rock star".
Don't rock stars do all of the things that repugs hate, like drugs, and sex, and spending money like drunken sailors?

No, wait a sec, as long as the drugs are from somebody elses prescription, the sex is with somebody elses spouse, and the money comes from the taxpayers, then hell yes, the repugs now want to be rock stars too!

24. So according to the Republicans, being a rock star is bad if you're Barack Obama,
but good if you're Sarah Palin?

Do they even realize how obvious they're double standards are?

26. Hannity was their first choice, actually.
But even they know Fox 'news' is in the tank, and since we haven't quite reached Soviet era Pravda here, they were forced to go with Gibson. They rejected almost everyone else including Diane Sawyer.

"Why was Charles Gibson chosen to interview Sarah Palin?"
http://dougwead.wordpress.com/2008/09/11/why-was-charles-gibson-chosen-to-interview-sarah-palin/

So,even with their preferred interviewer, at their preferred setting, with their preferred format, and high-level professional coaches, she still did an epic fail.
