"Richardson, Lieberman heading to Las Vegas to campaign"

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, formerly a Democratic candidate for president, is scheduled to visit Las Vegas Saturday to campaign for Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.

Meanwhile, Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman, a Independent who supports Republican nominee John McCain, heads to Las Vegas on Monday for a campaign stop.

Richardson will headline a 2 p.m. rally Saturday at Obama's campaign office in North Las Vegas, according to the Obama campaign.

Lieberman is scheduled to speak at Temple Beth Sholom at 10:45 a.m. Monday, McCain's campaign announced.

Both appearances are open to the public.
