I live in the South Hills, and I'm starting to see McCain yard signs in the Whitehall area. Went up to Lake Arthur last Saturday and saw a ton of signs in the Grove City, Westminster, Volant towns. And while you expect to see them in Grove City, I was glad to see quite a few Obama yard signs there.

11. I don't think when he said "I think Roe v. Wade is a bad law" on The View is going to go over well.

I'm not sure what the current numbers are but I do remember that earlier polling showed a significant portion of women supporting him thought he was pro-choice. He almost got away with it - just saying "I will appoint strict constructionist judges" but Walters called him out and said "that means judges who will overturn Roe v. Wade" - followed, of course, by his statement above re it is a "bad law" which caused a low boo to come from the crowd.

I spent all day at a golf outing and Palin was a frequent topic of conversation, on the practice putting green and at my table during the buffet. I merely listened. The typical exchange is very shallow, like, "How 'bout that Sarah Palin? Isn't she something?" "Had you ever heard of her?" "Hell no, but I like her." I heard that exchange, virtually word for word among different groups of people, twice today.
