Palin - please, let's get down to it....men are all about T and A.... |
|
I'm sorry, but it's true. I don't mean to be sexist, but we males are nothing other than sexist.
So let's be honest......her selection by McCain is nothing more than a love of T and A.

3. I can sit right here at this 'puter and see ACTUAL T & A anytime I want to |
|
I don't have to fantasize about Palin's T & A.
Although she does remind me of the librarian who lets her hair down, takes off those glasses and....

5. We are, at heart, primitive pagan monarchists. She is a fertility symbol. |

And not the first. People were really excited by JFK having an infant in the white house, like it guaranteed a better year of crops. Bill Clinton wasn't unusually popular with white women only because if his polices. (A lot of normally republican leaning white women voted for Bill who didn't vote for Gore or Kerry.)
One reason Republicans went so nuts about Hillary in '92 was that she was perceived as an anti-fertility figure, threatening that the herds of woolly mammoth would become less populous. (No one has ever gotten less credit for having a lovely child than Hillary.)
The fact that we tend to elect taller and better looking, and have had TWO father-son president duos is about what one would expect in a moderately enlightened hunter-gatherer tribe.
Hillary versus Palin would be real reptile brain contest of archetypes... Athena versus Hera for all the marbles.
Almost any society would chose Athena over Hera for the top executive slot, being wise warrior and (paradoxically) also goddess midwife. (A tribal midwife is among the oldest and wisest women.) That's the very model of women who have reached the top spot around the world. (Athens was, of course, Athena territory.)

6. Thanks for pointing out the "fertility symbol". I've been trying to |
|
suggest that for days, much to the amusement of anyone to whom I share the thought.
I think McCain my have in mind the role of "temple goddess" for Palin. But, Goddess she isn't in any way.
