I've been in the military and I've been to Alaska once... |
|
So according to the Repubs, I should know what I'm talking about
I spend my time here condemning them for their crimes
I think that they are right about someone like me

10. Small world -- we were in at the same time! |
|
Interesting that we both end up as DU'ers, too. :)
Yeah, I hear you about hating where you were. The only time I was in TX was during basic training. Although, now that I think about it, my last base was Holloman in NM, and I used drive down to El Paso and Las Cruces on the weekend.
People often asked me now if I liked being in the military. I often say, "like" is not the word, but since I was a young kid when I went in, it did teach me some life-long lessons in discipline. On the flip side, it was also the place where any idealism I had about fair play in the world was shattered.

derived from woodstoves, moosehunting, fishing and bull****ing. Alaskans are great at bull****ing, I guess you all have noticed as of late.

while in the military.
But my years in uniform stationed in Korea and Germany give me more foreign experience that she'll ever have.
