John McCain's Ad Team vs. Barack Obama's Ad Team

McCain's Ad Maker
W. Bradford Todd (born 1949) was the former chair of the Department of Advertising’s Professional Advisory Council.<1>

Brad Todd is considered a pioneer for domestic and international advertising strategies. He is currently a principal for the Richards Group. Before joining the Richards Group, he was involved with the Frito-Lay Corporation.

It should also be noted that he received his Bachelors degree in Advertising from the University of Florida in 1970. He also earned a Masters degree from Northwestern University.

McCain's ad people specialize in selling Frito Lay, Corona beer, and Fruit of the Looms. They have a more slick style in their approach. They don't necessarily cater to politicians like Obama's ad agency does. See there television portfolio here ---> http://www.richards.com/#/portfolio/

Barack Obama's Ad Team

http://www.gmmb.com/political/team.htm

In July, Obama spent $32,735,336.17 on ads from GMMB. They are supposedly award-winning ad makers who have made ads for Barbara Boxer, Harry Reid, Mark Warner, Jim Webb, Bill Clinton and others. If you go here http://www.gmmb.com/political/work.htm you can see some of the ads they've made for others. They focus more on less SLICK and more "issue" oriented typical political ads.

I say McCain has an edge in stylistic ad makers and Obama has gone with a more typical ad maker in this case.

4. rethugs' ads are vastly superior...we need a new ad person
i've said many times:

their 'rosie the riveter' ad, with palin as rosie is just brilliant

it symbolically wins over the working class voters we so desperately need

it has all kinds of evocative and deeply emotional symbolic resonance

among both men and women manufacturing workers (like Ohio and Michigan and Indiana)
