Report: Palin Did Not Visit Iraq---yet another lie

WASILLA, Alaska -- Aides to Gov. Sarah Palin are scrambling to explain details of her only trip outside North America -- which, according to a new report, did not include Iraq, as the McCain-Palin campaign had initially claimed.

Palin made an official visit to see Alaskan troops in Kuwait in July of 2007. There, she made a stop at a border crossing with Iraq, but did not actually visit the country, according to a new report in the Boston Globe.

Earlier, McCain aides had said that Palin visited Iraq, and expressed indignation at questions about her slim foreign travel.

The campaign also said she had been to Ireland; that turned out to have been a refueling stop.

In her ABC interview, Palin said she had also been to Canada and to Mexico, where her advisers said she went on vacation.

to have visited Europe, but her visit was a refueling stop on her way to Kuwait and she never left the airport!

Ya know, I really tried to give this lady a fair assessment, but she has made it immpossible for me to respect her for ANYTHING! She is arrogant, egotistic, not very bright, and lies all the damn time!

Expose her for the serial liar she is. We've got a 72-year-old two-time cancer survivor as her running mate, so it is very plausible that she could be the President. People need to understand just who this woman is.

It is not smart to ignore her. SHE IS the GOP ticket, for all practical purposes.

22. Report: Palin Not Female, From New Jersey

WASILLA, Alaska--

Aides to Gov. Sarah Palin are clarifying a previous McCain/Palin campaign position on the governor's gender and home state, conceding that the governor is actually male and a legal resident of Newark, New Jersey. Senior McCain campaign strategist Tommy Flanagan issued the clarification.

Reached for comment, evangelical leader James Dobson hailed the news. "This is just what we hoped for on the ticket. She is even 'realer' than we first thought. She just keeps getting more and more real," said Dobson. "Todd's a lucky man, in all probability."
