I'm back...and I've created something special for Wes Clark Democrats (check in here)

Perhaps like you, retired General Wes Clark was the first politician who truly inspired me to become actively involved in politics. I was disappointed that his was not our nominee in 2004, because I truly felt he was the best candidate.

If you are here, I don't need to tell you how wonderful and inspiring American Wes Clark is for all of us. You already know that. And whether we supported Hillary or Barack in the primary, we all know this election is too important to stay on the sidelines. Clark supporters are a well-informed community, and we understand the high stakes for the future of America and the world in this election.

Show your support for Obama and Clark by donating to the "Clarkies for Obama" fundraising page, and let this campaign know how much Clark supporters are committed to the real, fundamental change America and the world need today.

In a message to a supporter disappointed that the "dream" was gone, Clark reassured us that "the beacon of hope" lives on in all of us in a "journey of service."

"Phil, dreams don't have to end. When I set out from Arkansas to West Point in June of 1962, I had a dream about a journey, a journey of service. That's what life is - it isn't a destination, but it's what you do along the way. You wrote a beautiful letter for me in December...letters like that were one of the reasons I could think about running every day. But don't let the dream of a better America die. That dream isn't about a person, it's about all of us, what we do with our lives, how we affect others around us, how much we give, how much we share. And we can still have the dream of a great America, noble in spirit, true to her values, a beacon of hope, an inspiration for billions, the centerpiece of a new epoch for mankind. Yes, that dream is still there for us...we just have to work for it....it is bigger than any one person, and longer than any lifetime. And it isn't exclusive. Any of us can participate and share that joy."
