1. i don't think Air America listeners
are the voters that will make or break this election. it's the folks in the middle.

2. I think you are right.
But I don't know.

I have traveled to many strange lands without the comfort of satellite radio.

Especially at night.

You find a station that has a good signal and you stick with it.

3. Our radio station plays Randi Rhodes live M > F for 3 full hours...

Therefore, I voted no.. taking her off of one network and adding her to another didn't affect listeners in this area one iota.

She's live on our 24/7 progressive station from 11:am to 2:pm..

5. You are very fortunate.
They dropped progressive radio about 2 years ago here in Dallas.

6. You can listen to just about any radio show via the net..
We get Randi live here.. but we get Thom Hartmann later in the evening (recorded from his earlier show)

So if I happen to want to hear Thom.. I just click on a station down in Oregon and whala~ I listen to him live.

Can't do that in the car.. but hey.. ..I'm just greatful we have progressive radio here and that it's been doing so well for the past 4+ years..

7. The two local NPR stations do not carry Rhandi
So, I listen to them or classical in the truck.

@home on the TiVo: I have the Newshour w/Jim Lehrer, BBC World News, Keith, Rachel, and Jon & Stephen on a daily basis.

Sorry, I'm all full(I feel like I'm talking to a Jehovah's witness at the front door).

My apologies.

8. No, because they are now on other stations, but
not giving Sam Seder a show will...he is amazing at dealing with wack-job republican callers and really knows how to get the message across.

9. Radio talk now is too partisan to sway anyone really
Except the true sheeple of our nation who happily become automatons to any broadcast direction. Both sides are simply preaching to their own choir.

11. Agreed
I wish partisan radio shows would just admit their true mission instead of hiding.

12. It's not hiding it, that's why it's ineffective

There's simply no chance someone's going to happen across Mike Malloy and become enlightened. The people that agree with him will listen, those that don't may check it out through jaded ears but no minds will be changed.

10. Is AAR even still on?
I listen to Randi every day on Nova M radio, either live via internet (there's a link at www.therandirhodesshow.com) or podcast. She's back on XM, unfortunately, my car is wired for Serius.

AAR screwed up big time when they let Randi go and refused to give a regular spot to Sam Seder.
