Getting to know Palin - is 66 days enough time?
Excerpt from the column below, full column found at:
http://www.allvoices.com/contributed-news/1310313-palin-mccain

By Election Day, voters will have had 18 long months in which to assess Obama, on personality as well as policy. Voters will have had 66 full days (Aug. 30 through Nov. 3) in which to assess Palin’s qualifications for the ultimate No. 2 job in the free world. To put that in perspective, it’s about four to five weeks shorter than the average college semester. It’s about seven months shorter than a pregnancy and 10 months shy of a year. By any reasonable standard, it qualifies as nothing more than a glimpse.

Seven months short of a pregnancy. Think about that...amazing scam the GOP is trying to pull.

1. About a day and a half was enough for me!

...but I see your point. Had McCan't picked, say Romney, we'd have a premade list of reasons to hate him. With Palin, we had to start from scratch.

2. It is quite a large percentage of the time
she believes the earth existed. Given that she is a "young earth" creationist.

3. Perhaps that is the point to be made...
McCain's risky choice is an afront to the people. She cannot be vetted properly and is unelectable.

5. They are very effective at pulling scams
They paint Obama as the elitist, while McLame is the one with the 9 houses.
In 2004 they had people questioning the patriotism of a Vietnam decorated military hero while extolling the patriotism of a guy who was AWOL from the Texas National Guard. Their base is uninformed and gullible, and they keep them in a constant state of fear, so they're ready to believe anything.
With one trash-talking speech, they've now got them to believe that Pallin is just like them, and this makes her somehow qualified to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency. Yes, they're good at scams.
