This time Lou Dobbs has gone too far - he LOVES racist 'Obama Waffles'
Edited on Sun Sep-14-08 07:33 AM by proud2Blib
An exhibitor at the 2008 Value Voters Summit - sponsored by the Family Research Council and counting among its speakers former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has been selling seemingly racist anti-Obama waffles.

The product is pictured below. Summit security would not allow photographs to be taken inside the exhibit hall.

"I asked the 'chef'... if he was at all concerned that this might be viewed as a white man putting a black man into a frying pan," Raw Story reporter Larisa Alexandrovna wrote Saturday. "He laughed and said, 'I hope so.'"

According to the the site's blog, Lou Dobbs, who was also speaking at the convention, lauded the product Friday.

"My wife will love this," Dobbs purportedly said.

5. Is that why he is smiling?
I also see no reason to believe Dobbs is anything but a rabid racist. This picture is just icing on the cake.

8. There are all kinds of racist & prejudice.
He may be fine with Hispanics but a bigot when it comes to Blacks.

10. I don't think he is fine with Hispanics either
Yes, I know his wife is Hispanic. But he has made some outrageously nasty statements about Hispanic immigrants.

12. I'm not that familiar with the man so I'll take your word for it. :-) My point ...
was merely that you can be okay with X and not Z. Prejudice doesn't have and real logic... only ignorance, hate and fear.

13. He has made numerous false statements about Hispanic immigrants
and yet many defend him since he is married to a Hispanic woman.

14. "Love is blind". Folks can fall in love with someone deeply enough to
look past things that normally might have bothered you. So he can be in love with his wife and still be prejudiced against other Hispanics.

20. I always assumed that "wife" to people like him meant "servant"....
So having an hispanic wife really means nothing. Except that it gives racism-deniers an easy faux-argument.

6. More details:
I sat down to look at the waffle box near the deli outside of the exhibit and I overheard two women discussing the notion - frightening to them - that if Obama were to become president there would be more black babies in America.

And right behind these two fine twisted sisters were a group of older men discussing that this election should be treated (and I wrote this down) "as nothing short of WWII" and that "liberal fascism had to be defeated the way defeated Hitler."

9. Even after all this time, I'm still stunned & sickened by the bigotry, ignorance and
outright stupidity of some RePIGlicans.
