Make no mistake, and 'pub watching would think Carly Fiorina did great, because she obfuscated, changed the subject, refused to answer questions directly by just denying their premise -- all hallmarks of Republican "debate." But Clair didn't back down, didn't play nice (even though she was very polite in her responses). When Fiorina tried to claim that women flocked to McCain because of blah blah blah, McCaskill let her spew, then BAM, called her out on it. No mincing of words; John McCain and Sarah Palin want to imprison women who have an abortion even if raped; John McCain is opposed to equal pay, etc. "These are FACTS, George, they're facts." Carly just responded by ignoring the whole premise of the initial question by saying, "Look, women aren't single-issue voters," then tap-danced through another round of distorting reality. Or, as real people call it...LYING.

Good on you, Clair! Your constituents should be proud to have you representing them.

and manages to stay appealing the whole time with that smile. We're indeed lucky to have her on our side.

3. IMO, he needs someone besides McCaskill. It is beginning to

to look like she is his only supporter. Often she comes off as the
"over-protective" Mother. Do not hurt my little boy. May the primaries
made me cynical.
