So the only "real" job she ever had that wasn't sucking off the gubmint teet - she voluntarily quit because she was just too busy at the gym to keep working? That's what CNN claimed. I think she was "invited to submit her resignation". (remember Conservatives have a very low opinion of government employees and claim to want almost all government positions deleted) - And Sarah just couldn't bother to respond to CNN's request for an interview related to this show.

Biden, on the other hand, sat down one on one and answered some pretty difficult questions. He got all choked up talking about how Jill healed the wounds of losing his first wife. How wonderful it was to see a guy that been in politics for over 30 years still be human enough to feel and show that to the world. Most of those guys end up turning into a walking cartoon. I fell in love with Joe Biden all over again (even though I'm still mad about the bankruptcy bill)

CNN tonight 9pm eastern. Sarah Palin 9-10 and Joe Biden 10-11. The two shows were half decent too.

1. She made political connections at the gym - Alaska's top politicians were at the gym

3. That's what you get when you trash the press and refuse access at the same time.

A vacuum will be filled one way or the other. She's largely forfeited a chance to define herself with the media;
the one interview she gave ABC did her no favors with The Fourth Estate. She fell right into a dubious narrative that had already started taking root.

4. Oddly enough though, they did a fair job portraying her.
It was pretty negative all around but they clearly pulled a few punches in an attempt to not not look like they were picking on a girl. Instead of interviewing her, they interviewed the Wasilla mayor she beat and the ex-brother in law Wooten (with his lawyer). They hammered her pretty good.
