the web. I'm disabled with MS and have known that there is and has been adaptive computer programs out there for at least 15 years (Look up "Speech Recognition" programs).

Heck, my 86 yo father (WWII Navy Vet) uses a computer and has for a few years now. Even though he has pain in his fingers and hands he manages somehow and really enjoys the challenge of learning about his computer.

LOTS of disabled people and seniors use computers and are online. Claiming it's his war injuries does a GREAT disservice to ALL disabled and seniors and is total BS.

There is no physical problem with him using it - it is a mental hang-up. And finally he is making some attempts to learn to "get on online himself." Appears to be in no rush to do so, though. But McCain certainly doesn't mention any physical reasons why he can't work a computer.
