What's a Dumb Reason Why Voters Should Pick Obama over McCain?
It looks like we're in a lot of trouble with the dumb voters, who make up a sizable percentage of the voting population. Attacks on issues like McCain's ties to lobbyists won't work with these people, since they don't know what a lobbyist is and don't care.

How can Obama appeal to these people? Should he make an ad highlighting how McCain's a little shrimp? Maybe these voters would like Obama more if they found out he's at least 6 inches taller than the the feeble old man.

Beyond that, I'm stumped. It's really tough to come up with dumb reasons to vote for Obama, since between "drill here, drill now," "pitbull with lipstick" and all the rest of their crap, the McCain campaign really has this covered.

5. Cuter, I like. Bodysurfing might work with people near the coasts,
but people elsewhere will think it looks kinda foreign. It's too bad Obama doesn't like ATVs. Pictures of that would be gold.

6. That's a real reason, though, and apparently it's not working.
They'd rather just believe McCain's lies on the topic.

Wouldn't you rather have a beer with Obama.

Of course McCain could get you a better deal on the beer.

18. They say he terrifies them when it comes to foreign policy. Personally
I think they are racists that just don't want to admit it. There is this one lady in TN (Same town I grew up in...Millington) who supported Hillary. She is in her 70's. She keeps repeating that Obama terrifies her and that she is scared for the country if he is elected. Then she praises Palin. YET..she claims she is a democrat.

20. That's sad. McCain's foreign policy is the same as Bush's
And Palin makes them both look like tea-drinking diplomats. People are funny!

Personally, I'm too dumb about dumb.

Maybe challenge McCain to a boxing match for the Presidency?... poor McCain unable to lift his arms high enough to cover himself from taller Obama's reach...

to pretend that the RNC pumped culture war is real. (Or at least that it is bigger than it really is.) Give more coverage to Republican campaigning. Interview select groups to slant stories. They are pushing hard to create the impression that the Palin thing has worked.

I think they are pushing shamelessly to advance the Republican ticket because they know it is in a lot of trouble.

25. The undecided voters I've spoken to...
are deciding who they can trust.

Sorry to say, that it's easier to convince voters that you can't trust X, than it is to convince them that you can trust Y. That's why the negative campaigning works so well.

I'd stick with a "Can't trust McCain" message to sway 'em.

military recruitment at an all time high. What black man wouldn't want to serve under a black Commander in Chief? We need black people to keep joining the Army so we can keep pre-emptively invading countries full of brown people."
