Another lie? Palin as Chairman Alaska Oil and Gas
Edited on Sun Sep-14-08 11:18 AM by shraby
Conservation Commission. I googled the chairman's position from 2003-2007 and that position was held by John K. Norman until Feb. 2008 when Dan Seamount took it. I couldn't find any reference to Sarah Palin in that position except on blogs.

2. She chaired the commission from 2003-2004
It's on her wikipedia page, the commission's wikipedia page and many other pages.

3. Just found it..
Maybe this is why I couldn't find it before:

"Palin's stint with the normally staid AOGCC was tumultuous. Soon after joining she began complaining about the conduct of Randy Ruedrich, the chairman of the Alaska Republican Party, who Murkowski appointed as the AOGCC's top petroleum engineer.

Palin accused Ruedrich of ethical violations and resigned in disgust after less than a year in office. Before stepping down, she turned over incriminating evidence against Ruedrich to investigators."

She wasn't there very long. I would say less than a year in a position one is still learning their job...not time enough to be able to start leveling charges against others, but enough time to make a splash in the news.
