Iowa is ours. We just need the John Kerry states, Colorado, and New Mexico to win this thing.

I think the Obama camp should consider pulling out of the 22 state strategy and just concentrate on the important states. Forget Georgia and North Carolina. Concentrate on Colorado, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, Minnesota, Wisconsin, New Jersey, Oregon, and Washington. I guess Ohio and Florida as well, though I think those two might go to McCain.

Here's the poll: http://www.desmoinesregister.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080913/NEWS09/80913038

5. Maybe but the "wide state strategy" helps even he doesn't win them all. It spreads McCain thin...

and could take effort away from other swing states. Obama has the resources to compete far and wide - so why not?

6. Obama has Iowa!.
I am in Iowa, and my husband is from Minnesota, so I have ties in the cities (Mpls, St.Paul) and in the rural areas.

Obama is taking Minnesota also.

Probably will be closer in Minnesota than Iowa, we have gone deep blue. Democratic govenor, Democratic state legislature, ..

8. Iowa + Virginia would equal a WIN
Just pointing out that VA alone with IA could equal victory as well. :)

9. Or just Ohio...or Florida. We got this.
McCain has to hold onto so many states and I just don't see him doing it.

12. This also shows the Palin bounce did not effect all states evenly.
Looks like most of the bounce was in southern red states and Alaska.

13. I support going to as many states as he can
First McCain doesn't seem to want to go anywhere without Palin attached to him. That limits him.

Obama/Biden and their wives go out and do events on their own. We have 4 to 1 on major events. Can you see Cindy McCain or Todd Palin out there answer major questions or doing events that are not private and hand picked events?

Make the GOP fight for any and every border state. They can't cover it. We can. We could gain NV. OR is firmly Obama and here in Washington, we are Obama still even if there is a bump it will drop as soon a Palin's views are brought out there. The populations cores even Spokane WA on the east side are all Obama.
