The United States Naval Academy has an "Honor Concept". The first two lines read as follows:
"Midshipmen are persons of integrity: They stand for what is right.
They tell the truth and ensure that the full truth is known. They do not lie."

How the fuck can Grandpa McSame reconcile those words with the sleaziest, most dishonest, and most dishonorable campaign in the annals of American politics?

2. There were a lot of things McPOW failed to learn at Annapolis
The Honor Code was probably among them.

Cut him some slack. There were 5 midshipmen who graduated below him. Be glad one of them ain't running.

3. I guarantee you that as a plebe he had to learn it, memorize it, and swear to uphold it.
Apparently, he was a liar then, as well.

4. Nice, read those lines and then show the litany of lying McDouchebagg
ads and quotes. He would rather lose his honor then lose an election.

5. You may as well quote the entire TPM piece, and attribute. It's, like, honorable...
http://talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/216698.php

"Consequences

Yesterday I asked what consequences John MccCain might face for repeated instances of lying if he were still in the Navy. The UCMJ covers official lies and, more generally, immoral conduct. But there's also the US Naval Academy Honor Concept. The USNA makes clear it's not a 'code', in that it's not a specific set of rules but a general statement of moral conduct. But in the more colloquial sense most of us understand, it's the Academy's honor code, the rules of conduct midshipman are supposed to live by and against which they are judged.

The first two lines of the Concept are ...

Midshipmen are persons of integrity: They stand for that which is right.

They tell the truth and ensure that the full truth is known. They do not lie."

6. My younger brother was a Midshipman, class of '74.
He called me with the Honor Concept information last night. I haven't visited TPM recently. Is that "honorable" enough for you?

That are undoubtedly theoretically possible.

9. I knew about the honor code of the Naval Academy 34 years ago.
When Josh Marshall was still running around in short shorts and sucking on lollipops.

Anybody that was even thinking about joining the Academy knew about the honor code.
It was printed in their booklets that they distributed on the back of the front cover!

Let's see Josh Marshall's DD214.
Oh, wait a minute, he doesn't have one!
The only thing Josh Marshall has done in his pathetic 39 years of existence on this planet is start a blog!!

Oh, my!
How original!
How dangerous!
The effect of writing a blog in such a dangerous environment as the internet must be devastating to someone of Josh Marshall's temperment.

LoL

John Kerry is a veteran, ya know.

Maybe you weren't old enough to vote in 2004 and didn't know that.

10. Good for him! Tell him hello for me the next time you talk to him.
I would have been in the class of '78, but the appointment I was after went to another kid from here.
He deserved it, though, I have to admit.
I knew him from grammar school, and he was smart enough, big enough and one of the goofiest looking kids in school.

He had flaming red hair that he kept cut short to 1 inch spikes that stood straight off of his head.
He looked like Beaker from the muppet show.

The fact that McCain has voted against veterans the last 10 times is doing him more damage among the vets I have talked to here than him picking Palin.
McCain's record on veteran's issues is abysmal.

17. McNasty worked at breaking every rule in the book
Someone that knew him back in the day said he tried to break every rule in the book. He was very rebellious. Read anything on his background and it won't be surprising. He's total slime.

19. 1 - THEY DON'T CARE.
2 - He's too old (or INSANE) to remember anything BECAUSE of his time as POW.

3 - REPUKES will do ANYTHING to WIN - AT ALL COSTS!

and lastly - the Amerikkkan Sheeple - yes SHEEPLE - are STILL too stupid to know (or care) about the difference between the TRUTH and LIES...
