I was at the Pike County, Pennsylvania fair yesterday and there was a beauty pageant.

Little Miss Pike County, ages 10 - 12. They announced the winner, clap, clap, clap. Ten minutes later they recalled all the contestants and had a twenty-minute huddle. Seems the winner violated the rules by wearing makeup - lipstick - and she was disqualified. I believe I saw the Republican vice presidential candidate for the year 2040.

On another note, the Pike County Democratic Club had a well-attended booth. A lot of attention was given to the congresional candidate, Chris Carney, almost as much as to Obama, and he endorsed Clinton well after the primary. Doesn't seem to be any residual primary war here.
