September 14 Daily Gallup Tracking: MCSame 47% Obama 45%
Two days in a row folks. Not bad after the convention. McSame is stagnant and Obama is creeping back up the latter.

PRINCETON, NJ -- The latest Gallup Poll Daily tracking update shows 47% of registered voters preferring John McCain and 45% Barack Obama when asked whom they would vote for if the presidential election were held today.

1. I like it
I have to believe that Obama's new aggressive stance is working. It may be a couple of days before the polls reflect the effect. Obama raised 66 million in August and claims 500,000 new donors. I plan to make another small donation after getting paid tomorrow.

2. We'll know tomorrow if there was a 9/11 mini-bump for McCain
Today's the last day 9/11 will be in the tracking.

3. Could have been a little bump
It will be good to see the polls in the next few days. Between the "View" debacle and Palin's less than steller interviews it seems some air could be let out of the proverbial tires for McSame/Palin.

4. Joy Behar is my new hero.
I have seen only a quick clip of her telling McCain that his ads were lies. The look on his face was priceless. I was half expecting him to say, Hey! I was a POW, you know.
