Dear Corporate America: Wake up
Edited on Sun Sep-14-08 05:22 PM by Cyrano
In the 1930s, corporations, German, American and others, had this great idea of putting Hitler in power and controlling him.

Countless tens of millions were dead before it became apparent who was controlling whom.

You badly want your McCain/Palin madness in the White House so as to continue your rape of planet Earth and all who dwell on it.

Stop and think for a moment. What if St. John keels over and Sister Sarah takes over. And yeah, I know that profit is a big thing to her, but not as important as her "end-times" beliefs.

In case you didn't notice, she's a died-in-the-wool fundamentalist. And she just can't wait for the "final battle" between Jesus and the guy below. Jesus will win, believers will zoom up to heaven, and all the rest of us heathens will be cast into the fire.

So tell me again about your profits, stock options, golden parachutes, corporate jets, ten homes, yachts, and your omnipotent power over us peasants.

Yeah, I know, "Greed is good." Enjoy it when you, your families, and everyone you've ever known might just end up dwelling in a Palin produced nuclear cloud. Even you don't have enough wealth to buy your way out of that one.

During the Gibson "interview" she suggested that war with Russia was a possibility. So remind me again about how you, and not the one who controls America's nuclear arsenal, are the "masters of the universe."

1. Sorry that I have to self-kick this post, but
I believe with all my heart that if we do not defeat the deadly threat lurking just beyond the November 4, 2008 election, we never again will have an opportunity to save ourselves from horrors far worse than Bush/Cheney have committed.

I can't tell you what we must do to get Obama elected. But I dread the consequences if he is not elected.

2. It is not in the greedheads' self-interest to have Mooselini
anywhere near the WH. As sure as eggs is eggs, some fundy associate of Moosey will slip an icepick in Grampy's ear sometime during the first year of his "administration" and then the feces will really hit the impeller.

The fundymentalpatient wacks don't just believe in the Rupture, as insane as that is by itself. They want to hurry it along by way of a nuclear holocaust. All the better to bring back Rambo Jeebus. The rich repigs will fry up just as crispy as we great unwashed. As the great Tom Lehrer once sang, "We Will All Go Together When We Go." Do you like the sound of that sentiment, greedheads?

Think this through, greedheads.

3. Both McCain and Palin would be disasters for all corporate shareholders
Neither knows a thing about the economy. Both would conntinue Bush's economic policies and bring this country into a depression, worse than the first one.

Who cares if you get a bigger tax cut, when the value of your money is dwindling under Republican policies? Who cares if you get a bigger tax cut, when your profits are down due to the failing economy?

4. I have my doubts....
....I'm convinced Corporate America Inc. believes it has the power to control whatever repug permeates the White House....and I see no evidence to the contrary....

....as a matter of fact, Corporate America Inc. has a near 100% perfect track record in having its way in Washington....

....true, Big Oil stuck it to Big Auto, but I look at that as just a family squabble....
