While things are relatively quiet here: a request for DU admins and mods. |

Things are mostly calm now, but by tomorrow morning, I fully expect another barrage of concern coming from all quarters.
It' clear to me that certain memes originating on the right somehow work their way on to Democratic blogs and forums, where they spread like wildfire.
It was disturbing to see one of Obama's advertisements posted here before it was even released on the official web site, with a premise of "isn't this the worst advertisement ever?". No accusations, just an observation: sometimes there's no light between a dirty trick and nervous Democrat.
Would it be possible for DU to have some sort of moratorium on misery? I'm not asking for unreasonable censorship or banning anyone with a little bit of anxiety and a low post count. Maybe we could just combine some of the Chicken Little threads?

1. I don't know. We all need to vent. |

Sometimes I want to post WHY? WHY? WHY?
We're all collectively fed up. We come here to find fellowship among other Dems. I don'tknow if you can just knock out some and keep others in some sort of rational fashion.
Maybe we need a section called General Discussion:Vent.

There were days last week where it was nearly impossible to distinguish DU from LGF.
I've glanced at some GOP haunts today, and I think i can predict what tomorrow's concern memes will be:
Obama is going negative too late Going negative won't work, we'll lose the high ground Women will be turned off by the negative campaign
And so on.

2. You can put Concern on a Troll, but it's still just a Troll. |
