Joe Biden was in Charlotte, NC tonight.
I volunteered at the event. there were about 1500 people there, it was a ticketed event. Biden was talking a lot about health care, equal pay for women. still giving that "John MCCain is my friend blah blah blah, I wish he would drop that line. Jill Biden was also there. Nicely run event, lots of volunteers and The organization of the Obama/Biden crew is to be commended.

:(

I'm going to visit the Consulate of Canada tomorrow and I'm not joking about that either.

5. Yes but this time he slammed McCain over and over so it did not come off as too friendly
But yes I wish they could cut back on the good friends with the scummy repukes for goodness sake it's war out there!

2. He'll be here tomorrow
but I don't know if I'll be able to leave work early to see him. I'm going to try. It's an unticketed event at a high school about 45 minutes away from my office. I really want to see Joe. I've seen Barack three times (if you don't count Labor Day, where I couldn't see or hear him and he only spoke for five minutes).

3. Thanks

I appreciate the info! I used to live in Charlotte. Did he take questions? I was wondering if anyone asked him about Wall Street's latest self-immolation, given that the Charlotte economy is pretty much 100% banking.

I's interesting to me that Barack and Joe continue to campaign in "red" states - - it seems that if the wingnut meme that we're on the defensive were true, we'd be seeing more appearances in (say) Pennsylvania and Michigan. Obviously, that's a canard.

4. I saw it on cnn.com live. Joe Biden was HOT! I love how he worked up to a powerful final statement
I recommend seeing him on TV and am envious of anyone seeing him in person.

7. He is a fantastic public speaker. Absolutely fantastic.
So much genuine emotion and power behind his words. His speech this morning in Michigan was phenomenal.

8. I think that his "John is my Friend" stuff is aimed at the undecideds and
those who liked McCain in 2000. It's too say, this ain't personal on my part, so believe me.

I actually think that it is a good approach. It makes it seem as though he is not hating on the guy, just the guy's politics. That's how my not yet decided Client interpreted it. He said he liked McCain, but Joe Biden is telling the truth about him.
