The Scott-Heron prophecy
Looks like much of this is coming true -

http://www.gilscottheron.com/lyrevol.html
....
The revolution will not be televised.
The revolution will not be brought to you by Xerox
In 4 parts without commercial interruptions.
The revolution will not show you pictures of Nixon
blowing a bugle and leading a charge by John
Mitchell, General Abrams and Spiro Agnew to eat
hog maws confiscated from a Harlem sanctuary.
The revolution will not be televised.

skip

The revolution will not fight the germs that may cause bad breath.
The revolution will put you in the driver's seat.

The revolution will not be televised, will not be televised,
will not be televised, will not be televised.
The revolution will be no re-run brothers;
The revolution will be live.

And so we go. Camp Obama, grassroots organizing, and the utter political and moral bankruptcy of the "moneyed interests" slide under the radar - but the talking heads seem to like Mrs. Palin's glasses.

2. he rocks
We saw him in concert last year :headbang: yeah he was old but he was cute and very funny anyway.
He talked about politics but he didn't mention names.. the crowd was ready for it though, I wish he had. He kept pretty cool far as that went.. also it was at a club in DC.
