:eyes: This mantra appears to be conflicting yet, I hear it time and time again.

They need to make up their minds on this one, no? He's either got no record, or he's got "the most liberal" record. Which is it?

1. I wish some one of the dems would
take them on when they throw around the 'liberal' word and ask them just what has conservatism ever done for the people?

15. Liberal
Obama should wear it like a badge of honor. He should come out and say why he's a liberal and why he believes in it. It would sure fire up his base.

16. I love the John F. Kennedy quote on that:
Edited on Mon Sep-15-08 12:29 AM by mzmolly
What do our opponents mean when they apply to us the label "Liberal?" If by "Liberal" they mean, as they want people to believe, someone who is soft in his policies abroad, who is against local government, and who is unconcerned with the taxpayer's dollar, then the record of this party and its members demonstrate that we are not that kind of "Liberal." But if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal."

2. You know, it's just a total puzzlement to me why Rudy's kids won't
have anything to do with him.

He's such a warm, approachable man...

7. I'm not so sure Obama even has the most "liberal" record in the Senate
doesn't that moniker actually belong to Russ Feingold?

8. Here's a small
blog that attempts to address this absurdity. Kerry was called "the most liberal Senator" when the R's ran against him too.

http://mostliberalsenator.blogspot.com/2008/01/barack-obamas-voting-record-and-truth.html

"Most liberal" would mean real change, no?

13. I thought it belonged to Bernie Sanders, you know the socialist.
Every Presidental election year that stupid magazine always manages to find a way to say the Democratic nominee is the most liberal (fill in the blank) of (fill in the blank).

It's become rather tiresome.

17. For my money, I would prefer that Obama actually WAS
the most liberal in the Senate, I'm so sick of conservatism a hard 180 is in order.

18. Me too
It's too bad that won't happen. We sure could use some of that socialism like they have in Denmark. I'd like some of that please!

10. Pundits said he had to spin the Florida strategy because before the primary,
everywhere he went to campaign as people got to see him, his poll numbers would drop.

If you looked up humanvomit in the dictionary his face would be there . . . if humanvomit was an actual word, that is.

12. Giuliani put his command center in the World Trade Center
So he could walk to it if there were an emergency. He did this despite the fact that the WTC had been hit in 93 which Giuliani would damn well know about since he was running for mayor the second time that year. And in addition he did it in spite of everyone with half a brain telling him it would be smarter to put the command center in Brooklyn. That worthless prick has absolutely no credibility on anything. And while I'm on it Giuliani has never run across a black person who he'd bother to pretend to respect. Giuliani has absolutely no credibility.

That Skeletor looking jackass needs to STFU.
