Memo to far right: John McCain was brainwashed by COMMUNISTS for 5-1/2 years. |
|
(Doesn't that make him guilty of something? Getting caught? Not heroically escaping?)
Nobody knows what they planted in that brain, particularly when he was sleeping. It may explain some of his recurrent uncontrollable outbursts. Nobody knows what would surface under the extreme pressures of the Presidency. It's too bad, but it's real.

1. I know, it's astonishing that we can't talk about this |
|
that it's somehow sacred ground, off limits ...
He's the Manchurian Candidate, but we can't mention it. Surreal.

4. We SHOULD talk about this, the MSM should be talking about this... |
|
...if the dem nominee had that background, we'd be talking about this.
I hope it comes up more publicly as a valid concern....and is added to the loooong list of reasons he's unfit.

I mean, granted it was a terrible ordeal for him to have to go through. But I don't understand how the experience, in and of itself, is a qualification of anything. They are more or less saying that it was his determination, that it is a trait we should seek in the POTUS, but he did what any human would attempt to do in similar circumstances. Survive. Survival instinct is a very poor gauge of how qualified or underqualified someone is to do anything, particularly since most human beings have it.
It's like throwing up someone who narrowly avoided an auto collision by jumping out of the car's path. "We need someone like so-and-so, because the presidency requires the sort of quick reflexes and judgment that so-and-so showed that day. by narrowly avoiding death, he proved his mettle." It's silly...

5. Actually, he has been smeared with this before... |
|
By the same Bush cronies who push-polled the "illegitimate Black baby" crap in NC in 2000.
This is on par with the "Obama is a Manchurian candidate because he went to a madrasa in Indonesia" garbage. It's tinfoil nonsense and it's beneath us. It's about the issues, not conspiracy theories.

9. Are you kidding? Garbage? Was he a POW for 5 years or not? |
|
Are the living conditions of a POW generally good? Comparable to, say, a boarding school? A vacation retreat, perhaps?
Or are POWs subjected to, say, the sorts of conditions one would find in Guantanamo, or worse?
Any idea how this permanently affects a person's brain, personality, judgement, etc?
To deem it "off limits" is naive, incredibly naive.

6. Some could argue the whole story was made up |
|
Not that he wasn't a POW but to the extent of how badly he was treated. I mean if he is the Manchurian candidate, why torture him? You certainly don't have to torture someone to brainwash them. Break them quickly and the rest is the rebuild.
