I don't see how McCain can win Ohio with the Economy visibly collapsing like a house made of cards
Barring election theft the latest economic news and Obama's campaign gearing up to make this about the economy seems like Ohio would begin to shift strongly toward Obama.

I hope they point to the Iraq war as being a big part of out economic problems.

1. That's what the culture war stuff from the Republicans is all about.
People are pissed, and the Republicans are exploiting that to direct the anger at people who are trying to help them.

2. It's not about seeing - it's about believing
You can't change someone's religion that easily. They'll gladly accept the solace of a hollow excuse and someone to blame.

4. His campaign is great at lies and deception and they are in bed with the
corporate media.

Have we not learned that nothing is out of the realm of possibility? We will have to fight and work hard for every last vote.

5. Because of the Scary Black Man(tm)...
This will cause otherwise nice people to once again vote against their own best interests. Let's just hope we get out the vote.

That is the main reason I run into when talking to people, they will not vote for a black man

Unfucking real, they would rather cut off their own dicks than vote for a black man

"McCain aides say he plans to use the news to underscore the reform message that he began hammering at the Republican National Convention.

“This is bad news for the country and yet another sign that we need to reform Wall Street,” a senior McCain official said. “The only way we can do that is by reforming Washington first. We will show McCain and Palin as the ticket who will take action on the economy and make sure the taxpayers aren't stuck with the bill.”"

11. How can West Virginia be a "likely" McCain state?
Look at these primary results. More people voted for Obama than voted for McCain in the primary and that isn't even counting all the other people that voted in the Dem primary.

How can all these people who decided that the Dems were going to help their economic problems suddenly run scared of a candidate because he is Black? Do they really think that a Black candidate is not going to feel any sympathy for the plight of the poor? And that a guy who can not count his houses will? I just don't get people some times.

14. Fewer people voted for McCain in the primary because it was over by then.
West Virginia seems to me to be one of the most likely places where voters vote against their economic interests over and over and over, in election after election. If instead of assuming that voters vote rationally and trying to figure out how that implies anyone will vote for McCain, you just assume many voters don't vote rationally, it is easier to stomach.

It's the liberals causing all these problems. See the liberals wouldn't allow drilling. Rush Limbaugh said. :sarcasm:
