The most priceless gift of all : Obama/Biden have a lock on 'The Adults in the Room' |
|
McCain dropped 'Experience as makes the difference' in favor of 'Washington in broken'. However preposterous the 'Chainsaws of Chain' is, for better or worse, that is where they have positioned themselves. If this election is not about issues, if the electorate is sick of ideology and partisanship, here's the Republican ticket:
McCain - an out of touch old man - lost control of the campaign - caved on everything important - unable to talk about the issues, relying on gimmicks, diversion and lies
Palin - Hockey Mom out of her depth; - Didn't get a passport till 2007 - been overseas once; - Couldn't manage a small town - left the place $27 million in debt; - Claim to fame: backstabbing friends and enemies alike; - Brought small town vendettas to the Alaskan Government; - Doesn't understand energy - Alaska supplies 5% not 20% of US energy; and - Lies to cover up her few, if any, accomplishments
- One other nearly non-partisan issue: Cruelty to animals / aerial slaughter of wolves.
What this says to me is that as the 'Surprise Season' commences, Democrats are positioned to claim the advantage. Today we have Greenspan warning of the biggest financial meltdown in a century, a meltdown which he co-authored IMO. Whatever the bumps and surprises to come, here's an answer:
"Now is not the time to entrust Government to an out of touch old man and a hockey mom out of her depth".

1. Obama/Biden has a LOCK on REASON, TRUTH, and SANITY |
|
McWho/Palin GOP going with DIVERSION, DISPARAGING, and DECEPTION
McWho DIVORCES the GOP PARTY which he supported for 26 Years....he is blaming our terrible situation on Bad Govt, trying to dilute the guilt by including the Dems in the Picture of Doom and Gloom....
We all know better...Bush and his Pals are to blame...its those NeoCons and PNACers
Truth will bear us through the Muddle...Trust me....

6. Yes, Obama/Biden have the lock on reason, truth and sanity. |
|
Unfortunately, the U.S. is as wash with voters who have the lock on ignorance and faulty cognitive processes. The questions are (1) what are the percentages of voters who are mentally incapable of recognizing their own best interests and (2) to what extent have the Republicans distorted the voting by fraud?

8. The EASILY FOOLED Group should be about 30 to 40% ... |
|
the fight is for the Middle dudes...the "Indies".....
The Pubs Voting Fraud Factor is unknown...but from historical aspects such as Katherine Harris in Fla (2000) and Ohio(2004) I will guess 1 to 3%....
Obama needs to get off being Defensive....he is letting McWho set the tone.
Still, I have faith in Obama/Biden to pull it off.
Truth must be made to prevail...Failure is not allowed....

9. That's why I like the "adults in the room" idea. It speaks to maturity, |
|
wisdom, and long-term thinking without insulting other people's intelligence.

10. Excellent point, lamprey. Obama is a steady hand for change. We have HUGE problems |
|
which even partisan pea brains have to see with financial markets crashing around us.
This is NOT a game or a reality show. This is the most important election of our lifetime and we need a grownup with a clear eye and spine of steel to guide us forward.
Obviously, we need Barack Obama.
