Sen. Barack Obama's campaign is expected to roll out a new ad Monday that suggests Sen. John McCain is running a dishonorable campaign.

"I will not take the low road to the highest office in this land," the ad quotes McCain as saying, before listing numerous quotes from recent media reports about the Arizona Republican's recent campaign tactics.

"Exposed as a lie," one reads. "The truth be damned," adds another.

"What happened to John McCain?" an announcer asks, according to an advance copy of the script.

Later the announcer adds: "It seems 'deception' is all he's got left."

I don't want them to get all soft again if they re-open a 5 point lead in the polls. This ad is a good move in the right direction.

14. It's time for uppercuts, the "rope-a-dope" is not effective enough.

This is a start in the quest to get through the thicker skulls. Play this and other anti-McCain ads during Monday night football, NASCAR, wherever there'll be an audience that might need to hear this type of thing from the Obama campaign. I also like his commercial that addresses that he will not let us be "ripped off" by big banking and big oil any longer. Simple, and to the point. It's obviously what works for the undecided. The higher minded are already firmly in his corner, so it's time to bitch slap McComa. HARD.
