... then it will be sure VP Biden, if not acting President Biden.

If we don't pick up any Senate seats then it's 49 Repukes, 49 Democratic Party members, and 2 independents. Well, Bernie Sanders describes himself as a Socialist and I consider him a reliable Democratic Party supporter, at least when it comes to Senate matters. So I think he'd go for Biden. It then hinges on two things: will the 49 Democratic Party members stick together and go for Biden, or will there be a split, and what will Joe Lieberman do?

If something crazy were to happen and we lose a Senate seat then I'm afraid it's VP Failin'.

As for the Presidency itself ... well that all depends on the House races. If everything remains unchanged in the House and we have a 269 vote scenario, then we're looking at President Obama.
