I kinda feel sorry for Kay Bailey Hutchison....
I'm looking at the list of female speakers during the Sunday News shows and it seems both parties are pulling out their 'heavy hitters' to get the message out.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080912/ap_on_go_ot/news_shows_1

Democrats: Sen. Clair McCaskill (MO), Gov Janet Napolitano (AZ), Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (FL), Sen Dianne Feinstein (CA)

Republicans: Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (TX) and former acting governor of Massachusetts who once has a single-digit popularity rating because of all her corruption, Jane Swift.

It's pretty sad when you have to use a disgraced governor as your spokesperson. According to Wiki:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jane_Swift#Support_for_John_McCain_in_2008_Presidential_election

After the nomination of Sarah Palin as the Republican vice presidential candidate in 2008, Swift became a vocal supporter of Palin and of Republican presidential nominee John McCain.<2> Her role has been characterized as head of a "truth squad" debunking false rumors about Sarah Palin.<3>

Reading about Swift reminds me of an earlier version of Sarah Palin although to be fair at least Sarah was elected to the job of Governor (but NOT elected to be a VP).

So poor Ms. Hutchison seems to be the #1 voice out there for the Republicans to vouch for Sarah Palin.

1. I remember watching her take a big sigh...
Just before being interviewed about Sarah Palin (can't remember if it was at the RNC or on the Sunday shows preceding it). It seemed she was steeling herself to do a very unpleasant task. At that moment I felt great pity for her.

3. I saw KBH on one of the shows and her heart just didn't look in it. I'll tell you, Debbie and Janet
gave them both a serious smackdown!

5. I don't.
She's part of the problem. She appears on the talking-head shows to spread GOP talking points or outright lie. Last weekend her subject matter just happened to be Sarah Palin. :nopity:

6. JANE SWIFT?
Excuse me while I laugh my spleen out. Jane Swift redefined stupid and corrupt while she held the governorship here in MA, and anyone who's hanging on the words coming out of her mouth is the biggest knuckledragging, mouthbreathing, 'spergin' retard in the world.

11. She's the leader of the Sarah Palin Truth Patrol
Haven't we learnd from Jane Swift that just because someone can have kids in office does NOT mean they are qualified to be governor. I would think that Swift would be the last person I would want in my corner defending me.

10. i despise KBH but she would have at least been a qualified choice for VP.
She must be boiling over.

What a disgrace for those few intelligent republicans who have been forced to put lipstick on bush and now palin.
