and I just want to say that I am so proud to be a Democrat!

8. He praised the OLD McCain and then slammed him for using the very people who slimed him in
2000. It was VERY effective.

9. I addition to what others have said...
he made a personal connection with McCain (i.e. he is friends with him), then totally lambasted McCain's views.
