That's how long until McCain and Obama are on the same stage in front of 75 million viewers.
I predict we'll be up by 2 or 3 in the tracking polls going into that night (the trend has already begun).
I'm looking forward to it.
Expectations for Obama will be low (the media continually harp on the meme that Obama did poorly in the debates with Clinton).
Expectations for McCain will be high (the media narrative is that he cleaned Romney's clock in the debates).
It will be Kennedy/Nixon '60 all over again. Tired, old cancer patient on one side of the table. Vibrant young optimist on the other side.
Subliminally, the effect will be huge. Most won't even know why, but they'll come away liking Obama more and McCain less.
Also.... remember Clinton/Dole '96. Dole came off as a grumpy old out-of-touch man.

3. All I can think of is Bush/Gore and Bush/Kerry. |

Regardless of how Obama creams McCain in the debates, the media will come out of it saying McCain "won". :eyes:

4. Kerry closed a 7-point gap to a dead-heat because of the debates.... |
