Chuck Todd on MSNBC just now.............if some states do not "even out" before the debates |
|
then the "Palin Bounce" may have a hardening effect, and Obama may have some problem.

Edited to add Thanks to ProSense for Gallup story: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.ph...About a deliberate decision by Gallup and USA Today to release a McSame post convention bounce poll because it was so much more favorable to him than any other poll ever, but not to release any post convention bounce poll on Obama. ========== And here's some background on Rasmussen from DarthDem http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.ph...

16. more "brilliant" analysis from Chucky T...... |
|
Sometimes I like him, but he's a corp monkey just like the rest of them, who needs a horserace. I remember in March, he would say that Clinton needed a 20 point win in PA to have any chance of beating Obama for the nomination, but when that didn't happen, he was in the boat with everyone else, in awe over the 9 point "blowout", and nodding his head along with everyone who was still presenting the horserace. Then, after the primaries, Chuck chuckled and said "Well, it's partly our fault in the media (the Clinton supporters who refused to vote for Obama) too, because the media has been telling the Clinton supporters that they had a fifty fifty chance of the nomination for a while, when the fact is that she had a much bigger hurdle than was presented after February. They were sort of lead on." No shit, Todd. I wonder if he had a talking to from his handlers after the hot mike moment when he said that Palin was gimicky.

The calculus of the McGrampy & Nazi Girl party is to co-opt the Obama message knowing that if there isn't much of a difference between the candidates then most whites will vote for the "white party."

They sound less like reporters, and more like sports announcers every year. Then there is Kieth O, who actually is a sports announcer, and he manages to talk about issues, even as he beats up bush/McC/Palin.
