The Obama campaign needs to publically call out the Drudge Report ...
let's be honest- Drudge was de facto on Obama's side during the primaries, and I often noted how he would post anti-Hillary stories without presenting stories that showed her side of things.

It's just as clear, however, that Drudge is firmly in the McCain camp now, especially after the Palin nomination, which seems to have entranced Drudge. For example, today Drudge has been highlighting this bogus NY Post story about Obama wanting to delay an Iraqi troop withdrawal, without posting the Obama campaign's rebuttal of that story.

Playing the ostrich with his head in the sand didn't work for Hillary- I think Obama's campaign needs to publically call out Drudge in the hopes that he can be shamed into presenting more balanced coverage. At the very least, it will let everyone know that Drudge is in the tank for the Rebublicans. Maybe Obama could have a link on his webpage for rebutting the latest Drudge smears.

5. Drudge creeps me out, too, his head is up McCain's ass as well
Heard he was actually some self-styled libertarian. I wouldn't let him babysit my kids.

3. Drudge already is the top news site on the internet, hence my ostrich in the sand remark

Drudge is the one who hyped up the "lipstick on a pig" non-story. He largely controls what the talking heads discuss on tv each night.

6. But by doing so they will only call more attention to the NY Post story
Have the cable news shows picked up on this story yet? If they haven't, you can bet they will if the Obama campaign makes a big stink about it.

10. One of the sad things about this cycle
Is that some folks actually thought that the likes of Drudge supported Obama just because he hated another Democrat so much. Being anti-Hillary certainly should not have been mistaken for being pro-Obama.

11. let's be honest, drudge has always gotten his talking points from the rnc
which are then propagated through to r/w radio and the MSM

9 times out of 10 that is the news cycle agenda
