Seriously, folks - why do you think the media is ignoring Biden? |
|
It's not like he isn't out there everyday doing what a vp candidate should do. But who would know it?
Personally, I am getting sick of having to google Biden everyday to find out what he's been up to.
Any thoughts?

10. Actually, I think Biden is a very handsome 'older' man - |
|
So if the candidates are fighting for the woman's vote - between Obama and Biden - we've got the ticket!

9. To marginalize him. This is what they did to Edwards, to Kucinich, |
|
to Richardson, or anyone other than whomever their agenda pushed. Their goal is to marginalize him and take him out of the minds of the electorate, so it is essentially Obama vs. McCain and Palin.

swifts and challenged Bush. Dems need to put out FAKE prepared remarks that go easy on the GOPs to give media before speeches, that way their real attacks might have a chance of being aired.

... unnoticed. Introduced local pols in ... I believe it was... Mo., and told the state senate cadidate to "stand up and take a bow."
The guy is a wheelchair-bound paraplegic.
Biden recovered quickly however and told the audience to stand up for the candidate.

It was not significant in a political sense and was actually funny in retrospect. I can picture Letterman having Biden as a guest and showing the clip.
But, be honest, if McCain't or Palin did the same thing we'd be all over them.

This year is an exception with Palin, the new sensation, and being pretty doesn't hurt at all. I'm hoping this newness factor will die down in another week or so, but one never knows. It seems to me that she's even getting more attention than the Presidential candidates themselves!

It's the same as the posts that wonder why the media has 'turned on' Obama or any other post wondering why they're cheerleading for McCain/Mooseburgers...because they're giving the Republicans a boost, and hearing Joe Biden go to town on McCain isn't going to help the cause.

BUT you'll never hear about it when the media doesn't even send over a camera crew.
As far as election coverage is concerned, if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it McCain will say the forest is doing just fine.

The polls are even, so by ignoring Obama and covering McCain they think they can keep things that way. The corporate media knows how much damage Obama could do monoply-wise.
