I am in Texas and am obviously a waste here so I will be going to Ohio for the roughly ten days before the election.

I am in Houston (and am having other problems right this moment) but if anyone else is in Houston and would like to go to Ohio with me that would be great. The site below gives you a form to volunteer and says that if you need housing they will provide it for you from a local Obama supporter. I would like to carpool with someone from Texas preferably in the Houston area and would like to get housing there although am fortunate enough to be able to pay for a hotel if needed. If you are needing housing and can't afford to split the hotel I would pay the whole thing.

2. Iowans and Illinoisians come to Wisconsin
Iowa and Illinois look to be solid for Obama. Wisconsin isn't as yet. If you border WI, please come up or over and help. Thank you!

3. Ohio

I hope that you have better luck in Ohio than I did in 2004. I went up to Cincy from Louisville almost every week-end and they still cheated the dems out of the election. Of course there is now a dem governor and sec of state; that should help some. But beware; the GOPers there are entrenched.

6. I'm not going there because it is friendly territory. I'm going because it isn't.

I drove from Maryland to Arlington VA on Saturday to canvass. Place was packed and overflowing into the hall. They are doing everything possible to make Virginia competitive.
