1. Not because of the undecideds, because the polls have no measure of the NEW, Mostly DEM voters
Edited on Mon Sep-15-08 07:04 PM by Boz
They have no way to measure that with a poll, because they dont have lists of new voters that have been recently registered.

That means the polls have not talked to those people.

But we know that in almost every state Democrat registrations are up 2 to 3 to 1 over republicans, sometimes even more.

So if the polls, which dont know those people exist, for all means and purposes say we are tied, WE ARE CONSIDERABLY AHEAD.

3. "Undecided" because they cannot choose between steak and baloney.
If these people are really undecided and have 2 brain cells to rub together, then why are they undecided?

6. What will decide this thing is Obama has excelled in grassroots organizing
This has, actually, usually been the Democrats' strength anyhow, but Obama has upped it a knotch.

This means, of course, that the future is in our hands. We have to volunteer, man the phones, do the leg work of organizing. The structure is there, WE are the ones who will make it work.

If every one of us matches the time we do on-line with actual volunteer work at headquarters, we will win this thing. This would bump our vote totals by a significant amount.

Plus which....it is FUN!
