Did McCain "jump the shark" today. It seems so to me.
Obama attack ad skewers his sleazy campaign tactics.
McCain "steps in it" with "economic fundamentals are sound" talk.
Taunts union workers about not being able to pick lettuce for $50 an hour in Arizona.
His campaign says Sarah will not meet with troopergate investigator.

4. This could, in the long run, end up being a VERY good day for us.
Edited on Mon Sep-15-08 08:56 PM by Curtland1015
We'll see later, I guess. But his "the fundamentals are strong" line, the HERBERT HOOVER line, said just hours before the stock market took a nosedive, could honestly end up being a defining moment. It all depends how Obama/Biden and, yes, the press handle it.

14. He sounded like Pres. Hoover in 1929 with "The fundamentals are sound ..."
Edited on Mon Sep-15-08 09:26 PM by SharonAnn
I seriously think that Obama should be able to pull that together in an ad really quickly.

And point out what FDR had to do to get the economy going again and how McCain and his economic advisor have been the leaders in removing the FDR era regulations.

Yup, that should just about do it.

Put a fork in McCain. He's done!

10. The investigator did not issue a subpeona because earlier she voluntarily agreed to meet with him.
She is now apparently stiffing him. I think it is subpeona time for Sarah.

11. Yes, when you've lost Anderson "Milquetoast" Cooper,
you've lost the country. Not because he has any influence, mind you; it's as you say. He's only reading the writing on the wall.

16. Oh honey, that shark's BEEN jumped!
Let's see,

Was it making 'nice' with Jerry Fawlwell at Liberty U.??

Was it being trailed around by Lieberman whispering in his ear?

Was it embracing W. at a speech?

No.. I think the moment of the greatest leap known to man,
was the selection of that pompous freak from Alaska,
you know.. what's-her-name?
